Pacific Beacon, located at the San Diego Naval Base, is a 1.2 million square foot luxury apartment community exclusively for enlisted service members. Completed three months ahead of schedule, Pacific Beacon was a Department of Navy apartment project that consists of three 18-story, luxury high-rise residential buildings, a four story parking garage structure, in addition to plenty of onsite recreation facilities and social areas. Woodbridge Glass, Inc.’s scope of work included 160,000 square feet of bomb blast resistant unitized curtainwall and unitized punched windows, in addition to terrace doors and storefronts with associated trim and panel work.
The three residential buildings at Pacific Beacon house 941 dual master bedroom units. The buildings also meet the requirements for the military’s anti-terrorism/force protection standards and sustainability, while still maintaining a high level of comfort, luxury, and amenities for residents.
