Located at Hollywood Blvd. and Vine Street, the W Hollywood consists of a 12-story, 305-room luxury hotel, as well as a 16-story, 143-unit luxury condominium tower with a sky bridge to the hotel. The W Hotel & Residences in Los Angeles, was a private hotel project in which Woodbridge Glass, Inc. completely designed, engineered, and fabricated approximately 200,000 square feet of punched windows and unitized curtainwall, plus an additional 80,000 square feet of aluminum plate wall panels. Woodbridge also designed and installed rolling curved trolley system to accommodate unitized curtain wall installation with many penetrations.
Werner System’s signature 70000 Series Zero Sight Line Operable Windows used on both the hotel and condo towers. The curtain wall utilizes Werner System’s 18000 Series system, while the punched windows on both towers and window walls on the upper condo tower floors used the 19000 series. Used custom glazed in louvers that accommodated HVAC and fire sprinkler connections.
