Cal Memorial Stadium

The Cal Memorial Stadium project was a complete interior and exterior renovation of the 376,080 square-foot, 86 year old historic stadium. The stadium reconstruction included seismic, life safety, and programmatic upgrades. Enhancements were made to fan amenities, including restrooms and concessions. The addition of program spaces include athletics program, stadium operations, Hall of Fame, auditorium, and club level gathering areas. A new press box was also constructed with upgraded broadcast and hospitality spaces for game days and special events. The historic west wall and scoreboard towers were preserved with the addition of new scoreboards.

The scope of Woodbridge Glass, Inc.’s work was extensive, including 26,000 square feet of custom arched punched windows along the exterior, and 15,000 square feet of custom metal panels throughout the entire stadium. Work also consisted of 2,000 square feet of nana wall bi-folding club level panels with swing doors, 2,500 square feet of motorized press box awning windows, 10 bays of custom ticket windows, and 12,000 square feet of translucent structural glass floor at the University Club.
